About Us

There is so much to talk about at Lower Pertwood Farm that we've decided to separate all the information into different topics, which you can find on the left hand menu.

It is not very easy to capture the mosaic that is Pertwood in one picture but we've tried in this! This is me (Tam) and I have the pleasure of updating the website with our monthly Life on the Farm snippets. As I am usually taking the pictures I am not usually in them. We have a hard working (camera shy) team which at any one time can be eight strong.

So whatever interests you, be it our rich farming history that stretches back 5,000 years, or our monthly updates that show what's happening on the farm, or the way we care for our crops and animals...it can all be found on these pages.

If you have children and want to educate them on how organic farming is different then simply click on 'Biodiversity', 'Our Crops' or 'Our Livestock' and you'll discover why organic farming is not only healthy for the environment and for us, but also why it is sustainable... plus they may enjoy looking at our 'Fun and Games' section.

And if you have any comments as to how we can improve this site then simply go to the 'Contact Us' page and let us know; we always welcome helpful suggestions... Enjoy!
